About Kima

Hello, my name is Kimberly "Kima" Marie Skirka. I am your New Jersey Licensed Traveling Aesthetician and my mission is to help others feel and look better, starting with their skin. I have always been passionate about skin since I was a little girl, and finally took the leap in joining the skin care program at Capri Institute Salon. I had the pleasure of working with amazing instructors and skin care specialists who have been in the industry for over 30 years. The little details I have learned while gaining my education from my teachers in skin care I hold close to my heart. I am always striving to continue to master and perfect my craft in helping others with the integrity of their skin. 

My craft doesn't stop there, I also carry my skin care knowledge into the medical world working as a nursing assistant at Bayshore Medical Center. I care for a lot of elderly patients, and caring for their health and wellness and keeping the integrity of their skin healthy is very critical to me. Turning and repositioning my elderly patients is an essential part of their health care. I also previously worked as a medical assistant in a pediatric pleasure of working as a medical assistant to Dr. Azalesha Rodriguez who is an amazing cosmetic and medical dermatologist in Monmouth County NJ & Staten Island, NY. 

I am a woman that wears many hats, from babysitting to teaching self-defense. A fun fact about myself is that I am a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I also met my loving and supportive husband when I started training in Martial Arts about 8 years ago. When I am not caring for others and working on facial treatments as a traveling aesthetician, I am busy studying to become a registered nurse. I will be graduating with my RN, BSN estimate date 2024 from Chamberlain University of Nursing. Until then, I hope to have the pleasure of treating you and relaxing your facial muscles with my signature facials or meeting you at one of my Kima Facial Signature Spa-rty's.
